OUR STORY
Food shouldn’t feel so anonymous.
The food we bring home has a story before it reaches the kitchen. Simply Pasture is being developed to make the people, practices and places behind that food easier to know.

Illustrative farm scene; not an identified Simply Pasture partner.
There’s more to know than what’s inside.
You might know how you’ll cook a pack of ground beef without knowing who raised the cattle. An egg carton may describe a raising practice without introducing the people who look after the hens.
We want those connections to become easier to follow. That means giving the farm and its practices a place alongside the ingredients, serving suggestions and words on the front of the pack.
The farmer should remain part of the food’s story.
A farm story can explain the choices someone makes: when a pasture needs rest, how shelter is prepared and how feed is chosen for the animals in their care.
Our aim is to help shoppers understand that work and connect it to the food they choose, with records supporting the connection.
Our example beef story shows how that experience could look. It is a demonstration, not a profile of a Simply Pasture supplier.
For the food you buy every week.
Simply Pasture’s product concepts span fresh ingredients and prepared meals because the question of where food comes from matters across the week.
A carton of eggs, a pack of ground beef and a ready-to-heat meal each need their own explanation. The goal is to keep that connection useful as the food changes.

Simply Raised. Simply Better.
Simply Pasture is a brand in development. The products are concepts and are not available for purchase. Our standards framework and product-to-farm traceability are still being developed.
